Comb Perforator
a rotary perforator with one long horizontal row of pins and numerous short vertical columns of pins. This pin format resembles a comb. A single rotation perforates three sides of each of the stamps in a single row.
Skiving
a method of <#stamp> separation in which thin layers of paper are removed by grinding instead of cutting or punching. The result resembles <#perf=perforations>.

Bobst-Champlain Perforator
work-horse perforator at the <#bep=BEP> for definitive sheet <#stamp=stamps> during the late 1980s and beyond. Introduced in February 1985, this machine uses a Eureka <#bullseyeperforations=bullseye perforation> die to perforate two adjoining <#pane=panes> across a printed <#web> at a time. It also separated the web into <#sheet=sheets> four panes square then stacked them.
